Some of the ladies in the ward invited me to celebrate the kids going back to school by tubing down the Animas River in Durango. I don't normally do stuff like this...especially without my kids (I guess I really don't do much of anything without my kids...), so it was a nice change of pace. I got a little sunburned, and have some bruises in odd places (the river is really low right now), but I had a great time and got to know some great ladies! We are already planning next year.

Way to go Dix! The braving the white water rapids with some new friends... Ha ha. Well at least they didn't want to all go roller blading for their school year celebration. You rock!!!
