Every year, Durango has an event called "Snowdown". There are little events all over the community - ski races, tournaments (Yahtzee, Poker, etc.), dog and cat shows, costume contests, etc. This year they started the "Snowdown Dough-down" at our favorite donut shop. James and a friend entered the dough-down, and James won 3rd place out of about 40 contestants. The first place winner ate 7 donuts in 2 minutes. The 2nd place winner (James' friend) ate 5, and James tied with 2 others for 3rd with 4. They had a Snowdown Doughdown Showdown to break the 3rd place tie and James ate 5 more to win for 3rd place. Ryan and James are already talking strategy for next year.
